About Nelson Paredez Parks

Hey there, I'm Nelson Paredez Parks. Let me give you an understanding of who I am and what I do.

I've been in the entertainment scene for quite a while now, and let me tell you, it's been an exciting adventure. Back in the day, I started off as an actor and even did some casting work. But where I really found my groove was as an acting coach. Working with countless aspiring actors has been a pleasure for me. I've shared my creative techniques with them and aimed to help them shine both on stage and screen.

You might have caught some of my insights on shows like "Access Hollywood", "E! Entertainment", and “Channel News 5.” Yes, I've been lucky enough to share my expertise on some pretty big platforms.

Now, here's where things get interesting. I'm not just about coaching talent—I'm also in the business of managing it. That's right, I'm the brains behind The ESI Network, a talent management company that's making waves in the industry. Over the years, I've had the privilege of shaping the careers of some incredible stars, from Ashton Sanders to Malcolm David Kelley. And let me tell you, seeing them succeed was the best feeling in the world.

My entrepreneurial spirit has led to the founding and co-founding of various organizations and businesses, including:

  • Talent Plan: A celebrity and impersonation company.
  • Break for Breakfast: A large networking group in Hollywood for a couple of years.
  • Rise Up Entertainment: Developed a series of commercial spots, directed and produced by Nelson himself.
  • Kidz Eyes: A non-profit providing arts scholarships to underprivileged kids in the Los Angeles area.

By combining my robust educational background from Columbia College and USC with a passion for mentorship, I continue to influence the entertainment industry. I’m not just a player but a game-changer, mentor, and inspirational leader. Can't wait to see what's next on this crazy journey!

Some of my current and past roster of series regulars include:
